Is the first month really free?
Yes. Start your free month without a card. You get every feature for 30 days. Add a card any time before it ends to keep going; you won't be charged until the free month is over.
How much does it cost after that?
£19 a month, or £190 a year (two months free), including VAT. That covers your whole team of up to 25 people, plus logins for your clients.
Do you charge per person?
No. One flat price covers up to 25 team members. Clients with a portal login don't count towards that.
How do I cancel?
From Billing in your board, any time, in one click. Your board stays open until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
What happens if I don't subscribe?
Your board pauses at the end of the free month. Everything is kept for 30 days, so you can subscribe and carry on, or download your data. After 30 days the board and its data are deleted, and we email you a week before.
Can I make it look like my business?
Yes. Add your logo, choose your brand colours, pick light or dark mode and name the board. Your team and clients see your brand. The only mention of us is a small "Powered by" link.
Can I switch off features I don't need?
Yes. Settings has a switch for every feature: timers, the focus reminder, the client portal, projects, task areas, recurring tasks, reports, files, the timeline and more. Switched-off features disappear from everyone's menus, and nothing is deleted.
Where is my data kept?
On our UK-managed hosting, in your own separate board. Files are private and only open for people signed in to your board. You can download everything from Billing whenever you like.
Do I need my own website or any setup?
No. Sign up and your board is ready at simpletaskboard.co.uk/your-business. Your team signs in at simpletaskboard.co.uk/login.
Can my clients see everything?
No. Clients only see the tasks you choose to share with them. They can send you requests with a needed-by date, and only you are alerted.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. There's nothing to install.
